Obituary
Pocket Ledger is a personal budget app, and the keeper has been asked not to use the past tense. The first version worked. It was written in Vue and tracked groceries for five months.
The second version was going to be cleaner. It is about two thirds of the way to doing what the first one did, and has been since the autumn of 2023.
There is no date on this stone. The author visits every few months, opens the editor, reads the settings page, and closes the editor.
What it taught me
A rewrite is a second project that inherits the first one's deadline and none of its users.
