Obituary
Inkwell was a static blog generator, built because the existing ones had too many moving parts. It shipped with 1,412 packages in its lockfile.
It published three posts in fifteen months. Each explained how the blog had been built. Between posts, the build broke four times without a single line of its own code changing.
The final commit ran an automated fix with the force flag on 20 January 2020. The build has not passed since.
What it taught me
Count the dependencies, then count the posts. If the first number is bigger, write in a text file.
